Dare we get excited about our holiday???? A few short weeks ago this holiday was partially booked but with illness in the family we felt unable to contemplate finalizing details. With the passing of Vaughans father life has gone back to some routine although Mick has left a huge hole in our lives. He is at rest now and his suffering has ended. He will be sadly missed.
We booked this cruise last year when Mark from (Lets Cruise) sent us an email with details. Sue and Brian (friends) were keen as well. As were the Muffs(friends). Unfortunately the Muffs arent coming..... After much negotiations with Mark we were able to settle on a price and decided to book it. We have ended up with $650 Au credited to our cabin account. ( So that should take care of 2 or 3 days bar tab!!) Coming from our cruise consultant and a future cruise we purchased on our last sailing. Also because we are past cruisers with Princess we each got $300 deducted from our fare. So it does pay to be loyal after all!! We have decided to fly direct to Vegas via LA and will spend 5 nights there, then 3 nights in LA before embarking the Dawn Princess at San Pedro wharf. We have a mid ship balcony stateroom, C436. Sue and brian are just down the hall in cabin C616. Now we just have to decide and book the activities we want to do!!!!
